On the day of your facelift, you’ll be welcomed into Mr Abood’s modern, private facility – whether that is in London or Cambridge. The procedure is performed under local or general anaesthetic, depending on suitability and complexity of your planned treatment.

He will make discreet incisions, typically hidden along the hairline and around the ears, before carefully lifting and repositioning the underlying tissues. These underlying tissues are the combined layer of deeper tissues and facial muscles, called the SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeaurotic system). During a facelift, this tissue is either elevated and tightened along it’s superficial surface using internal stitches (SMAS plication) or is elevated and repositioned as a single ‘sheet’, known as a deep-plane facelift. Any excess skin is then removed to create a naturally firmer, smoother appearance. The aim is to rejuvenate your features without changing your natural expressions – producing elegant results that look entirely your own.

After your facelift Mr Abood and his expert team will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to support a smooth recovery and help you achieve the best possible results. Mr Abood was the surgeon who agreed to take me on, after months of rejections due to being deemed as too high risk.
However, Mr Abood made me feel reassured and confident going forward with the surgical procedure. I had several consultations that were never an inconvenience.
I had the most pleasant experience from start to finish and I’m over the moon with the end result. I will most certainly be using Mr Abood again

Four weeks ago I had upper eyelid and brow lift surgery and I am absolutely delighted with the results already. Mr Abood and his team looked after me really well. So much so, I am planning to return and have my lower lids done, once my upper lids have completely healed. I can honestly say that Mr Abood is extremely personable. He made me feel at ease from my 1st meeting with him. He explained what to expect from my surgery very well.  I never felt rushed during appointments,  I really felt reasured when I asked questions and he knew I was worried about going to London for my breast argumentation and lower blasphemy . He took time to video call me before my operations to offer reassurance .
I can not thank him more for his kindness and professionalism.

I had Breast Augmentation and Uplift with Dr Abood 31st July 2024 at Weymouth Street Hospital in London. This has been the easiest and most stress free procedure I've ever had. Dr Abood and Justine are so kind and lovely, I felt totally at ease and welcome from my first appointment.
