Breast Augmentation London

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation, also known as breast enlargement, is a cosmetic procedure that enhances the size and shape of the breasts using silicone implants. The treatment creates a fuller, lifted, and more youthful appearance while maintaining natural balance and proportion.

Many women choose breast augmentation to restore volume lost through pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss, or to achieve better symmetry and body confidence. The procedure can make the breasts appear firmer and more contoured, complementing the overall figure.

At Dr Abood’s London clinic, the surgery typically takes around one hour and is performed under general anaesthesia. Recovery time varies for each patient, but most can expect to return to normal activities within six to eight weeks, with ongoing support and aftercare provided by Dr Abood and his team.

Breast Reduction

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery can transform the lives of women struggling with large or heavy breasts. Excess breast weight often causes back, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as posture issues and difficulties finding comfortable clothing. It can also affect self-confidence and daily quality of life.

At AA Plastic Surgery in London, Dr Abood performs breast reduction procedures designed to relieve discomfort and achieve a balanced, natural look. The surgery typically takes two to three hours, with most patients recovering within two to four weeks.

The procedure reduces breast size and weight by removing excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin, while reshaping and lifting the breasts for a more proportionate silhouette. During surgery, Dr Abood can also correct asymmetry, reposition the nipples, and carefully minimise visible scarring to ensure a refined and aesthetically pleasing result.

Following the procedure, the breasts are lighter, firmer, and better aligned with the rest of the body, restoring both physical comfort and body confidence.

Breast Uplift in London

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Breast Uplift

Breast uplift surgery, also known as mastopexy, is designed for women whose breasts have lost firmness or begun to droop. This procedure restores a lifted, youthful shape by raising the breasts higher on the chest and addressing concerns such as sagging, loss of volume, and asymmetry.

Over time, factors such as age, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, and lifestyle can all contribute to changes in breast position and shape. A breast uplift helps reverse these effects by lifting, reshaping and re-contouring the breasts for a firmer and more natural appearance.

At AA Plastic Surgery in London, Dr Abood performs mastopexy procedures with precision and care. The surgery typically takes up to two hours under general anaesthesia, with an estimated recovery time of around six weeks.

Patients can expect beautifully balanced results that rejuvenate the figure while preserving natural softness and proportion.

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Tummy Tuck

Excess or loose skin around the stomach can make many people feel self-conscious about their appearance. This is often caused by factors such as pregnancy, significant weight loss, or natural ageing, which can stretch and weaken the skin and abdominal muscles.

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, removes excess skin and tightens the underlying muscles to create a smoother, firmer, and more contoured abdomen. The procedure helps restore definition to the midsection and can significantly improve body confidence and comfort.

At Dr Abood’s London clinic, abdominoplasty surgery typically takes two to three hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. Recovery generally takes around six weeks, during which Dr Abood and his specialist team provide comprehensive aftercare and guidance to support optimal healing and long-lasting results.

Liposuction for London Patients

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Liposuction

For many people, maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise routine isn’t always enough to eliminate stubborn areas of fat. Liposuction, sometimes referred to as liposculpture, is a highly effective treatment for reshaping and defining the body by removing unwanted fat deposits.

The procedure targets fat beneath the surface of the skin, helping to contour and smooth the body’s natural shape. Liposuction can be performed as a standalone treatment or combined with other procedures, such as a tummy tuck or breast surgery, for enhanced overall results.

Common areas treated include the stomach, hips, thighs, knees, arms and back, where localised fat can be difficult to lose through lifestyle changes alone.

During your consultation with Dr Abood, you’ll be able to discuss your goals and identify the specific areas you’d like to target. Dr Abood will advise on the most suitable approach for you to achieve balanced, natural-looking results.

Blepharoplasty (Eye Bag Removal)

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Blepharoplasty

Eye bag removal, also known as blepharoplasty, is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures at our London clinic. The surgery takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes and typically requires a recovery period of two to six weeks.

As we age, the skin around the eyes naturally loses elasticity, leading to drooping eyelids, puffiness, and under-eye bags. Fat deposits can also accumulate in the eyelid area, sometimes causing the eyes to look tired or, in severe cases, partially obstructing vision.

Blepharoplasty surgery helps to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids, tightening the surrounding tissue to rejuvenate the eye area.

The result is a fresher, more youthful appearance, with smoother contours around the eyes and improved definition across the upper face. In some cases, the procedure can also enhance vision by lifting excess skin that may otherwise obscure the eyes.

Skin Surgery London

Ahid Abood - Skin Excision

In his London Marylebone clinic, Dr Abood is able to perform a variety of surgical skin procedures. These include:

  • Mole removal – the removal of pigmented skin lesions (moles), especially those that are suspected to show signs of cancer
  • Cyst Removal – the removal of soft tissue that forms small, painless bumps beneath the skin, but can become infected
  • Lipoma Removal – the extraction of fatty lumps called lipomas, which, though mostly harmless, can cause discomfort
  • Skin Tag Removal – the removal of small, fleshy growths often found around the neck and underarms
  • Skin Cancer Treatment – Dr Abood has the expertise to treat all types of skin cancer and can even perform a sentinel lymph node biopsy for more serious types of skin cancer (melanoma)

At AA Plastic Surgery in London, every treatment is tailored and personalised specifically to the individual. In addition to the procedures listed above, Dr Abood offers a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries designed to enhance appearance and restore confidence.

One of our most popular combination procedures is the Mummy Makeover, a treatment that typically involves removing excess fatty tissue from one area of the body, such as the abdomen, and using it to reshape and restore volume to the breasts. This holistic approach helps rejuvenate the body’s natural contours after pregnancy or significant weight changes.

Beyond aesthetic treatments, Dr Abood is also highly experienced in reconstructive microsurgery, scar revision, and other specialist procedures aimed at restoring form and function.

More About London City

Ahid Abood Plastic Surgery - Contact

London has been a significant British settlement for over two millennia due to its key position on the River Thames. It was founded by the Romans around 47-50 CE as Londinium, the capital of Roman-occupied Britain and a major commercial port. Londinium was burned to the ground in 61 CE by Queen Boudica and the Iceni tribe, and was practically abandoned in the early 5th century when Roman rule collapsed.

Alfred the Great is thought to have ‘refounded’ London in 886, reviving trade in the settlement. London began to grow again until it became the largest town in England by the 11th century. William the Conqueror was crowned in Westminster Abbey in 1066 and founded the Tower of London as his primary place of governance. Parliament was formed in 1215 after the signing of the Magna Carta and met in the Palace of Westminster. London superseded Winchester – the capital of Anglo-Saxon England – and has remained the English capital ever since, surviving the Black Death, the Great Fire of London and the Blitz.

Today, London is a major financial centre and global city with a strong influence on international markets. It is Europe’s third-most populous city and has the continent’s largest concentration of higher education institutions, including Imperial College London, University College London and the London School of Economics. Over 300 languages are spoken in this diverse city.

Modern visitors to London might visit London’s four world heritage sites: the Tower of London, Kew Gardens, the Palace of Westminster and the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. Other attractions include the iconic Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and Big Ben. The London Underground is the oldest rapid transit system on the planet.
